About Mike Singer:

I'm a Journalism major and Political Science minor with a passion for photography residing in Rockland Country, New York, which is located in the Hudson Valley.

I am currently a second-semester sophomore at Quinnipiac University and plan on graduating with my undergrad in Journalism in the fall of 2025 and graduating with my master's degree in Sports Journalism in the fall of 2026.

In my spare time, I am an ice hockey goalie, who played for the Suffern Mounties ice hockey team and also played for the Montclair Blues travel hockey team in the off-season.

At Quinnipiac, I am the Online Editor of the Quinnipiac Bobcats Sports Network, Associate Producer for Q30 Television's Bobcat Breakdown as well as the Music Manager and Live Event Photographer for WQAQ 98.1FM where I also host two shows, The Singers Mic on Monday's from 6:00-7:00 p.m as well as Metal Morning's on Saturday's from 12:00-2:00 p.m.

My quest to be a journalist/photographer was inspired by my love for Rock and Roll, which started at age 13 when I started attending many rock concerts and dreamed of traveling with the bands to just simply take their pictures and write about my experiences.

It has since grown into a love for Sports Journalism as well as Music Journalism where I can be seen commentating sporting events, writing articles, or doing photography.

Over the years I have been lucky enough to capture pictures of amazing artists like Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Rebecca Black as well as The Blue Oyster Cult.

I created this site so I could share my current work as well as pictures. I hope you enjoy following my journey.
